MANIFESTO OF A BREAD MAKER
MANIFESTO OF A BREAD MAKER is a memory about the
Bread maker Baba Nina, performed by her granddaughter. The
artist tells her grandmother's life in the countryside, her
relationship with work, nature, and war. While the memories are
opening the granddaughter starts to question herself. What is
my Bread? Do Bread and Theatre belong together? Can I heal
with my bread? A journey from northern (or eastern?) Latvia to
Switzerland, from a Bread oven in a country kitchen to the
Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.
